FAQS
What is the nominal wind speed that the Globalia Hurricane Screens resist?
This is a simple and easy question, but the answer is difficult. All hurricane protection products are designed on the base of pressure and there is no direct correlation between wind speed and pressure because many variables are involved. However, given that our products are approved for use within the HVHZ, they have successfully demonstrated their capacity to withstand pressures equal to 76 psf or winds of up to 150 miles per hour.
How do you anchor Globalia Hurricane Screens?
The weave on our Globalia Hurricane Screens allows us to use almost any anchoring system and hardware approved by the "Florida Building Code". More FAQS

Globalia, Hurricane Protection System
Globalia Hurricane Screens are made of an 11.5 millimeters thick, cutting edge, highly resistant polypropylene weave that is 97% solid and 3% porous. This allows visibility to the exterior and the entrance of light while stopping the entry of hurricane-force winds, rain and flying debris much better than any conventional hurricane shutters.
